My 2024 Summer Reads…
Book #1
Here’s a simple reminder: we receive what we give through our actions, energy, and attitudes. Life isn’t as complicated as it seems; sometimes, we just need a nudge to remember how to play the game. We have the power to manifest success and joy in everything we do—if we choose to. 😉
Book #2
This book is a must-read for women seeking to understand the various stages of life. It encourages us to slow down and savor the small moments, offering a respite from the overwhelming demands of modern life. By taking a brief escape from our daily routines, we create space for contemplation and creativity. The author skillfully prompts us to reflect on how we balance our lives and relationships, providing valuable insights for a more harmonious existence.
Book #3
I love Tosha Silver for her ability to infuse humor into the serious aspects of life. Her insights offer a refreshing perspective, showing how she has navigated her own challenges to provide a positive outlook for others. Her work reminds us that divine timing is real and encourages us to trust the journey, adding a much-needed touch of comic relief to our lives.
Book #4
I absolutely adore Julia Cameron’s work, and while her more famous book, The Artist’s Way, is widely known, I personally connected more with this one. We often focus on talking and pushing too hard, but sometimes it’s more important to listen and see what naturally unfolds. Use your morning pages to clear your mind, and then allow yourself to be open to whatever insights and ideas emerge once the inner chatter quiets down.
Book #5
This book was a crucial part of my movement training. Although I initially resisted starting it, I learned that resistance can often be a signal to lean in. Once I began reading, I couldn’t put it down. Many people dwell on the past, but this book offers valuable insights on processing past grief so we can move forward with greater lightness and openness.
