DIY Summer Facial Mist

Cucumber diminishes swelling and puffiness, especially around the eyes. Lime juice brightens the skin and basil smooths out feelings of stress and anxiety.


 

THE PROCESS


STEP 1

Squeeze lime juice into a container and remove seeds. Juice the cucumber in a juicer.

STEP 2

In a glass measuring cup, mix together 1 teaspoon of lime juice, 2 tablespoons cucumber juice, water, glycerin, and basil essential oil.

STEP 3

Transfer the mist to a glass container with a spritzer cap and refrigerate. The mist should last for 5 days.

STEP 4

Be sure to drink the left over cucumber and lime juice, as it contains high amounts of stress reducing magnesium!

INGREDIENTS


Makes 4 ounces

1/2 lime

1 small cucumber

1/2 cup distilled water

1/2 teaspoon vegetable glycerin

1 drop basil essential oil
